About Bryony
I recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a 2:1 in English Literature. I have been an online tutor for three years, and tutored for over 500 hours. In this time I have received over 270 5* reviews for my patient teaching style and proven exam success. I have also tutored 30+ dyslexic students, so am experienced with helping target problem areas.
In many cases I raise grades two letters/numbers from predictions. I have helped students achieve 9s at GCSE and A*s at A-level. With one A-level student when we began tutorials with her predicated grade at an E, this summer she proudly told me she had achieved a B, thanks to our combined efforts.
My tutorials are tailored to the areas the student is struggling with; for example if a student struggles with essay writing we construct plans to essay questions together and analyse past essays in detail alongside the mark scheme to ensure they are hitting the right criteria!

I can not recommend Bryony highly enough. After taking a gap year to retake my English Literature exam, it was initially very daunting having to take on the specification without the help of any teachers. With the help of Bryony, however, I was able to get to the University I wanted. Bryony went above and beyond in helping me prepare for my exam, providing past questions, mock papers (which she marked in detail), key quotation analysis, as well as any other specific areas I wanted to cover. Whereas some tutors have the tendency to fall into a “one size fits all” mentality, Bryony’s tutorials were always highly personalised.
