About Lambros
My name is Lambros, I come from Cyprus and I love teaching. I do not have a specific teaching style, as my philosophy of education is that teachers should adjust to the needs of their students. I focus my efforts on helping students learn by understanding the complex notions at hand rather than by simply reciting them. I graduated with a First in Economics from the University of Edinburgh in 2020 and since then I have been working full time teaching economics to A-level and IGCSE students. I am not currently based in the UK so I can offer online tuition only. Over the last two years I have prepared digital notes for the IGCSE, AS and A level syllabus that we can use to prepare for tests and exams together. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time in nature and to learn new things myself. My current hobbies include trekking, swimming, yoga, guitar and bouzouki. I also love languages, I am fluent in English, Greek and Spanish and have beginner level Turkish and Portuguese. My philosophy is to address the needs of the students. I can adapt to slow-paced and fast-paced students. The classes usually take 1hr 30 mins, but I can be flexible. My lessons are appropriate for anyone having difficulties with understanding the syllabus, but also for advanced students that want to master their technique in tackling the questions. My lessons include a combination of going over the syllabus, doing exercises, past-papers and are ideal for exam preparation.
