About Ruben
I studied STEM in high school, where my passion for mathematics and science really blossomed. Later, I studied Electromechanics with a specialization in Aerospace at the KU Leuven university.
During my studies, I gained additional experience as a member of the KU Leuven rocketry team (BE-Rocket), where I worked on challenging technical projects and immersed myself in various scientific disciplines, including CAD design.

I am a very eager-to-learn person myself and get a lot of satisfaction from conveying my knowledge in a clear and structured way. My goal is not only to help students succeed, but also to give them a deeper insight and perhaps even a new appreciation for the subject.
How does a lesson proceed?
Calm and patient approach: I take the time to explain the material in a way that suits the pace and level of the student.
Understandable explanations and practical examples: I make difficult concepts accessible by linking them to recognizable situations or by using handy memory aids.
Practice makes perfect: Theory is important, but practice is even more important. Together we create targeted exercises to really master the subject matter.
Personal guidance: Everyone learns in their own way. I adapt my explanation so that the student really understands the subject matter and feels confident.
For whom?
Primary and secondary school students who need help with mathematics, physics or science.
Students in the first years of university who are looking for support with technical subjects.
Anyone who wants extra explanation and practice to perform better and gain more insight.
My goal is that after the lesson the student thinks "This is explained much better than in school!" and masters the material with renewed self-confidence.

Perfect! Ruben helpt met uitleg chemie en wiskunde. Hij kan moeilijkere concepten duidelijk uitleggen en overbrengen. Dit alles met een grapje ertussen, wat mijn zoon heel leuk vindt.
- Matteo is heel enthousiast en leert snel bij. Hij is ook enorm leergierig en steekt er alle moeite in om dingen zo snel mogelijk te begrijpen!Ruben's response :

Een empathische super enthousiaste leerkracht die samen met jou op zoek gaat naar de problemen in je leerproces. Mijn zoon kreeg zijn wiskunde leerstof niet meer verwerkt. Dit was te wijten aan de gebrekkige kennis van een stuk leerstof uit het vorige jaar. Ruben had tijdens de oefeningen opgemerkt waar het probleem zich stelde. Hij heeft eerst de hiaten weggewerkt en er vervolgens ervoor gezorgd dat mijn zoon terug volledig mee is. Een hoop minder stress tot gevolg.
Zoek jij iemand die zich echt wil inzetten om samen met jou op zoek te gaan naar wat je nog niet goed begrijpt in je leerstof, die je helpt met dat beetje extra inzicht dat je nodig hebt om verbanden te leggen tussen leerstofonderdelen, die je met een paar goede en heldere voorbeelden net dat extra zetje geeft om tot je eigen eureka-moment te komen, dan ben je bij Ruben aan het juiste adres! Ga samen met Ruben op weg, en je wordt in no-time een Superleerling!
