About Amir
As a dedicated tutor, I combine subject expertise with a supportive and professional approach that helps students feel confident from the very first session. I have six years of teaching and tutoring experience, working with students across different levels and backgrounds. My goal is to create a positive and structured learning environment where students can make steady progress while gaining the tools to work independently. I believe professionalism means being punctual, well-prepared, and respectful of each student’s unique learning style. At the same time, I aim to be approachable and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and taking on challenges. My lessons are carefully planned yet flexible, ensuring that each session addresses the student’s immediate needs as well as long-term academic goals. By choosing to work with me, students can expect clarity, consistency, and a strong commitment to their success.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
I use a student-centered approach that combines clear explanations, guided practice, and active learning. I begin by assessing each student’s strengths and challenges, then adapt my methods—breaking complex ideas into manageable steps, using visual aids and examples, and encouraging students to explain concepts back to me. This ensures deep understanding rather than rote memorization.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Quick Review (5–10 minutes): Go over previous material and check understanding with a few warm-up questions.
New Concept (15–20 minutes): Introduce the topic with clear explanations, real-world applications, and interactive questions.
Guided Practice (15–20 minutes): Work through problems or examples together, gradually giving the student more independence.
Independent Practice & Feedback (10–15 minutes): Student attempts problems while I provide feedback and clarification.
Wrap-up (5 minutes): Summarize key takeaways, highlight progress, and set goals or homework for next time.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I combine strong subject knowledge with the ability to adjust my teaching style to different learners. I focus not just on getting the right answer, but on helping students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and long-term study habits. My lessons are interactive and encouraging, designed to make students feel supported while being challenged.
Who the Lessons Are For
I provide lessons for middle, and high school students and college-level math, physics. I also have experience tutoring student groups, international students, advanced learners, or students needing remedial support and I adjust pacing and materials according to each student’s academic level and goals.
