About Sarah
I am an English and Spanish philologist, although my main area of work is Spanish as a foreign language. I'm a native speaker.
I can help you to improve your speaking, listening, writing and reading skills, to sound like a native speaker, and to understand specific vocabulary (proverbs, colloquial expressions, words from different dialects, etc.)

The subject is going to be structured in a progressive way attending to the level and the needs of each student, so I prefer to work individually. I can teach any level, from A1 to C2.
I usually present an specific topic in each class, so vocabulary and grammar will be related to it. Every two classes we will review what we have learned in the previous ones, in order to evaluate if the student has achieved the necessary skills. Every two weeks I will test what the student has learned, and based on the results we will work harder on the most complicated parts.
I encourage my students to speak and feel confident in conversation. The objective at the lower levels is not to sound as native speaker, but to communicate properly and to be able to understand Spanish speakers. I consider practice the most important pillar of learning.
