About Natalie
I went to Berklee College of Music. I enjoy learning languages on Duolingo, getting outside and basking in sunlight, my two cats (bonded sisters), and arts'n'crafts. I teach piano lessons during the week and bartend on the weekends. I'm usually happy to get some new clients! Thanks

I involve four key items to my piano lessons:
1. ear training
2. sight reading
3. fun songs
3. fun!
I primarily teach out of the Piano Adventures books (by Nancy & Randall Faber). But I supplement w Suzuki books, whatever other instructional books the student has, chord charts, picking out songs by ear, etc. More advanced students will do rhythmic dictation, melodic dictation, and some sight-singing. I like to supplement their repertoire with fun songs to their interests (whether chord charts, fully-notated, or otherwise). I want to involve piano with the student's individual interests, which usually isn't too hard if they have any idea what they like in general.
