About Esin
I am 22 years old and I am from Eskişehir. I received my undergraduate education between 2017-2021. Previously, I took English lessons with my neighbor's 5-year-old daughter in Germany. I am applying to schools in Europe for my master's degree and therefore I want to teach to save money. I am a friendly person. I believe anyone can learn a second language if they are willing.

Since I graduated from Linguistics, not English Language Literature or teaching department, my perspective on language is different. For example, because I know the phonetic alphabet well, I think it is very important to learn the correct sounds and stress together with the accent and thus speaking when learning a word. Moreover, I think that grammar knowledge can be learned much more easily by understanding the logic behind it, not by memorizing. We can decide and apply one of the methods (Direct Method, Communicative Language Teaching, etc.) I learned in the courses I took at Hacettepe, by discussing it with the student. I argue that in order to learn a new language, it is necessary to be familiar with the culture of that language, so the lessons should also include the media forms of American and British culture.
