About Anthony
I have been working as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional for several months.
My lessons tend to pretty lively, and have the experience of a ten year political science veteran. While most of my experience is teaching civics to adults, I have shifted to educating k-12 students with little issue.

My ninth grade history teacher asked on the first day of class, “what is history?”
My response was, as it is now, a story told through many voices.
My philosophy has always been our past guides our future. If we want to move forward, we need to know what happened. That doesn’t just include facts and data, but also the narratives of the people of the story. As a history and social sciences tutor, my goal is teach how to think critically about the world you, be able to analyze data, and understand how narratives can affect our perception of the world around us.
Each one hour session will be divided into three sections based on students needs. Possible areas of focus are literature and historical analysis, test prep, world geography, essay practice and oral preparation of projects, among other needs.
