About Israel
I am a structured, student-centered educator who blends strong instructional design with real-world teaching experience to create engaging and effective learning environments. I have taught ESL internationally in China, South Korea, and Colombia, and have also taught elementary education and high school Spanish in the United States. These diverse experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt instruction to different cultures, proficiency levels, and learning needs. I focus on clarity and consistency in my teaching, using scaffolded instruction, guided notes, and intentional practice to break down complex concepts so students can build confidence and achieve success.
My lessons are purposefully designed with clear objectives, structured routines, and meaningful activities that guide students from introduction to mastery. I incorporate higher-order questioning, differentiation, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to support all learners while maintaining a respectful and accountable classroom environment. With a background in technology, I also integrate digital tools and interactive resources to enhance engagement and deepen understanding. Overall, I strive to create a learning experience that is organized, inclusive, and innovative—helping students grow academically while developing the skills they need to succeed beyond the classroom.
