About Jessica
Graduated from Methodist Ladies’ College in 2020, studying IB.
Received an IB score of 44 and an ATAR of 99.75 with a 7 for all my six subjects: HL Chemistry, HL Biology, HL Economics, SL Mathematics, SL English A: Literature and SL Chinese B.
Currently studying Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne.
I am passionate about education and would love to share my learning experience with other students worldwide and help them achieve their academic goals and balance their studies and life.
Furthermore, I started playing the violin at the age of 4, and it has become a great hobby of mine for the past 15 years. I also love playing tennis and golf, which are my favourite sports. Skills that I am good at: communication, responsibility, collaboration, examination, critical thinking and independent learning.

As a tutor, I will closely examine students’ performance, helping them to target their weaknesses and find effective and personalised study plans. I also focus on:
• Strengthening students’ level of understanding, test preparations skills and problem-solving skills
• Providing engaging and productive sessions that satisfy students’ academic needs and interests
• Reviewing students’ works and assessments and giving them valuable and sufficient feedbacks
• Teaching them personalised exam strategies and revision techniques
• Working through past papers with students and giving them feedbacks
• Share with them summary notes, and practise questions
I hope to be a supportive tutor who not only works with students’ academic goals but also focuses on helping them manage their stress or concerns from high schools. I believe that an optimistic mindset helps with students’ productivity and academic performance. I wish to help them have a positive experience in learning and overcoming challenges.
