About Katya
I am a recent college graduate who enjoys reading, film analysis, video games, and going to the gym. I have been writing creative papers since high school and enjoy reading and helping my peers as they have written papers. While attending Montclair State University I was a peer mentor for over half my time, aiding students in decisions involving their major, course options, and other assistance in acclimating to living/attending college.

Integrating students' interests with lessons to help them better retain the information. This builds a connection with the students and allows them to get acclimated during sessions. A typical lesson plan would consist of an introduction to the material, and guided practice to introduce a solo portion where the student will apply skills in an activity, finishing with a review of the activity. My lessons can be geared to those currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree and high school students.
