About Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren! I have over a decade of experience teaching, tutoring, and working with young people, but my main work these days is as a Cinematographer. I may have even worked on a TV Show or Movie you've seen! At the end of the day, I am a creative, and am looking to help you find that same creativity with the subjects you need help with. I wish someone had told me when I was in school that there was more than one way to approach the tasks I was struggling with. Now I'm here to pass on that knowledge to you and help you find ways to achieve your goals without getting discouraged.

When it comes to art - whether that's watercolor, drawing, or printmaking - everyone has a unique style. We'll find your style together and create work from there.
A typical lesson will include creative thinking, process techniques, and practicing skills to better hone your craft. These lessons are for anyone K-12. I pride myself on my creative process and have no doubt that we can develop yours through hands-on engagement with the material.
