About Oscar
I am Oscar Standidge, a recent graduate of Royal Holloway University of London, of Classical studies. I did my dissertation in "Homeric Weeping" (crying in the Iliad and Odyssey). I am deeply interested in the ancient world from its history and literature have a deep interest in Shakespeare and Chaucer, I am also neurodivergent having been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyspraxia and am on the waiting list for ASD, so have experience with neurodivergent and neurotypical people.

My approach would be subject matter, how to dissect what we know and how it can be approached in modern worlds allowing students to think for themselves and draw their own conclusions. I firmly believe that the student shouldn't be told what to analyse and the right solution but guide them in how they came to that conclusion maybe giving some more text to see if their opinion changes.
