I graduated from a traditional scientific high school in Italy where I obtained the EsaBac (double Italian French high school diploma).
I have been giving private lessons and homework help to elementary and middle school students for 4 years.

To teach the subject to the students I rely on the materials provided by the school, providing further explanations and possibly deepening particular topics.
I often use demonstrations and examples based on the student's everyday life, in order to make the concepts easier to understand and memorize.
During a typical lesson I tackle the topic with the student, dwelling on unclear concepts and developing them better, and then carrying out targeted exercises and / or doing a generic review of the topic.
When I'm helping with homework I assist the student during the exercises; I tend not to give the solution myself, I always try to guide the student towards the correct reasoning.
