About Nur
I'm a student myself, so I totally get how hard and stressful learning can feel sometimes, especially when the pace is too fast, or the teaching style does not match how you learn best. That is exactly why I want to teach. I want to be the kind of tutor I wish I had—someone who listens, goes at your pace, and makes learning feel easy and fun. I love both languages, and I have always enjoyed helping friends with their work, breaking things down in simple ways that actually make sense. Seeing someone finally “get it”—that lightbulb moment—it makes me so happy. I'm here not just to help you pass, but to help you understand, grow confident, and even enjoy the process. i’m mai, your soon to be private tutor for english and malay and trust me, this wont be your typical boring lesson. i believe learning a language should be fun, personal, and something you actually look forward to.
my approach? super chill but effective. i get to know your pace, your goals (whether it’s slaying exams or just speaking confidently), and tailor everything to you. we will mix in real life convos, games, and creative stuff so it is not just textbooks and drills.
im patient, understanding, and totally down to explain things as many times as you need no pressure, no judgment. just good vibes, real progress, and a tutor who’s got your back.
