About Valerie
I am a finishing up my 1st year of teaching! I love every minute of it, and want to continue helping other people who need help and support in English and/or Spanish. I truly believe I was put on this Earth to be able to teach and educate students and build relationships with them so they can continue to grow to love learning, no matter the language barrier.I am here to tutor students that need the support to learn another language, and help students who need help with the academic skills.

I currently teach Kindergarten and among my class, I have a few students who do not speak English. Within my class, they were able to still learn all their letters and sounds to succeed in 1st grade. Its always nice to encounter other students at my school whose native language is Spanish, but feel like they can’t talk or communicate with their teachers because of the language barrier. I am always teaching my students words in Spanish and they love every minute of it!
