About Yao
I'm a person who has ample passion for language studies and pedagogy. Every student has unique traits, so I will be flexible in different student tutoring to fit their needs and characters as much as possible. Every class will be prepared elaborately and delivered efficiently with my best effort. Also, I am a patient and responsible tutor who can try his best to answer your questions and solve your problems. However, I hope to be your friend and co-learner but not just a language teacher. Everyone has their adept and short aspects, so let's progress together!

I am happy to be a friend of learners and hope to learn from each other rather than unilateral learning of learners themselves. Therefore, I prefer to use communicative and task-based teaching to apply multiple learning activities and techniques. However, how the tutoring is conducted is totally based on the learners' needs. For each tutorial, a 2-hour session is suggested with a 10-min break in the interim. I have experience in both English and Chinese language tutoring and helped learners improve to chase their goals in academic performance and language use. The target learners I am interested in are English beginners and intermediate learners. Also, Chinese as second/foreign language learners at all levels are welcomed as well.
