About Hu
Hi! I'm Jinyi, from China. I studied piano for 16 years, became a professional pianist 13 years ago, have significantly advanced professional skills, and started teaching two years ago. I am now an undergraduate piano student at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and I can teach piano, and music theory, including one-on-one coaching for students.

My name is Jinyi Hu. As a teacher, I help students discover their potential and learning styles.
I prefer a more friendly atmosphere for students to develop their ability in the zone of proximal development, which is just between the "too easy" and "too hard" areas. Playing the piano needs to relax; I want them to feel comfortable and create more expressive ideas.
I prefer to invite parents to participate in every lesson and students to practice. For younger students, parents can understand teachers more, and they can also help students have enough practice, more focus, and more efficiency.
