Hi, I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish. I have experience in linguistics and grammar, and am happy to help people learn English as a second language.

About Caprice
I have had many teaching experiences including being a math tutor, piano teacher, and CPR instructor. I try to meet my students where they're at and help them with what has the most room for improvement. As someone who has studied multiple foreign languages, I know how difficult the process can be. That's why I try to help my students gain confidence in the skills they already have and to grow the skills that they currently struggle with. I am comfortable working with elementary-aged students and older, focusing on learning English as a second language.

I like to start my lessons by asking my students what they would like to focus on and what they feel they need the most help with. I like to take a conversationalist approach, focusing on speaking, but also spend time teaching reading and writing.
