About Fukying
I am passionate about learning and teaching without the bureaucracy of modern day educational system. Not only am I an excellent student, I am also an excellent teacher. I enjoy the progress and the confidence students gain over time. The intrinsic value in of being able to help another person learn something difficult is very rewarding. I like to get to know students as an individual and form a positive and healthy learning experience for the students. Students can expect clear and easy explanation for a difficult subject.

My teaching method and techniques varies depending on the learning style of the student. I cater my lessons to the student to help them learn the skills and understanding they need to be successful in the subject. Typically, I have a first assessment session when I meet with the student to establish a baseline of the students' skill level so I may develop a plan accordingly.
I approach my tutoring as a science and grounded in evidence-based learning and techniques. I use different methods and educational theories to help students learn at their best. Not only am I easy to work with, I offer support that goes beyond just teaching the lesson to achieve my goal.
I have experience teaching students from 1st grade to juniors in high school. I have support students in English, Math, Science, Spanish, Chinese, and History. I am also open to teaching other subjects by consultation.
