About Jocelyn
I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology which affords me the ability to understand the mind and how we function. I am also a life coach which gives me the experience of supporting and encouraging my students through new transitions, difficult challenges, and the vulnerable feelings that come up when we are learning a new language.
I am a great listener and I want you to feel supported in this process. We will teach, learn, and share real world experiences to learn how to communicate in the real world not just in the phrase book tourist world.
It is not about being perfect, but about being understood and communicating clearly. That is what I am here to support you with.

I teach in conversation style based on on real world experience so you learn how to communicate your feelings and to express yourself.
I can relate to the challenges and difficulties of learning because of my experience being immersed in Spanish, so I make learning fun and personal in order to stay motivated.
These lessons are for anyone wishing to travel to an English speaking country and feel comfortable getting along there.
A typical lesson plan would start with some basics in structure and vocabulary and then we would have conversations incorporating what we learned to get it to sink in to the memory.
