About Alvaro
I am currently combining my acting career with a master's degree in acting at the University of Music and Dance in Hamburg, Germany, with Professor Jürgen Franz. I have extensive experience as a teacher at the Santander Professional Music Conservatory "Ataulfo Argenta". As an interpreter, I have the opportunity to collaborate with numerous orchestras, such as the Orquesta del País Vasco (OSE).
These experiences and many others allow me to face the classes from a professional point of view while, by continuing to be a student, I can understand more closely the difficulties that students may encounter when playing the transverse flute.

Thanks to my experience as a teacher in a professional center such as the Santander Professional Music Conservatory, where I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages, since I have been lucky enough to be able to work with numerous teachers who have given me different points of view to face the development of the interpretive technique of the transverse flute, I have extensive experience and numerous tools to help solve the difficulties of students when playing.

I have been taking flute lessons with Álvaro for about 3 years. In this time, he has really brought me forward. In every lesson we work on a beautiful sound and on technique. He always knows what you need to improve. Then we work on pieces. He has brought me to a completely different level. I could never have done it alone. With him I feel no pressure, it is just fun and I want to learn more. Although he plays the flute professionally, we work on the same level. Álvaro is the best teacher I can imagine. I can only recommend his lessons to everyone! It is well worth it.
