I am Raphael, Graduate in History, Master in Modern History and possess the qualifications required to teach in secondary schools. I have teaching experience in public schools in the community of Madrid. I offer reinforcement and extension classes for Secondary Education in any field of Social Sciences and Humanities. My method is based on trying to enhance the skills and abilities of each student. I want my students to develop "routines of thought" this is a didactic theory developed at Harvard University that aims through continuous pursuit of a number of techniques of study and work to create a series of habits of thought that the student use of automatically when dealing with different intellectual challenges. I also support the constructivist techniques that encourage autonomy and meaningful learning. In my classes I will work a number of basic techniques shared by all subjects of Social Sciences and Humanities. Thus the reinforcement in a particular subject will impact not only on the student's performance in this area in particular but it will help develop their potential in the other subjects. I also offer materials and reinforcement and extension activities developed by me and tailored to the particular needs of each student.
