About Jan Louis
I hold a PhD in Physics and have several years of experience in both research and teaching. During my time at university, I gained hands-on experience as a demonstrator, guiding students through problem-solving, laboratory work, and complex concepts in physics and mathematics. Details
For Existing Clients:
Old rates apply and will keep on applying until 31 December 2025, i.e. there will be no increase during 2025.
For New Clients:
The amount of R450/hour was determined taking into account the average rate of science and math tutors in the Sandbaai/Hermanus area, as well as my own qualifications and skills.
It is also worth mentioning that even though a single lesson might be only one hour long, the time that went into preparing the lesson far exceeds one hour.
Please be assured that I am committed to charging the lowest reasonable rate. I know that economic conditions are currently challenging for many of us.
