About Aaliyah

I am a year 12 student at one of the best schools on the Gold Coast with 3 years of tutoring experience as I have topped english 4 years in a row. English has always been one of my favorite subjects because it's more than just reading and writing it's about expressing yourself, understanding the world around you, and finding your own voice. I want to help you feel confident in your ideas and show you that you can achieve more than you think.

I’ve spent years studying English and working with students just like you, and I’ve learned that everyone has their own way of learning. That’s why I take the time to get to know how you learn best, so we can make our sessions interesting, supportive, and fun.

Whether you're trying to improve your writing, prepare for a test, or just get better at speaking and understanding English, I’m here to help every step of the way. I love seeing that moment when something clicks when you feel proud of what you've learned. That’s why I teach. And I can’t wait to work with you.

About the lesson

Hi everyone! My name is Aaliyah and I am passionate about helping students thrive in English. I am in year 12 and I have several years of experience working with children of various ages and skill levels, and I take pride in helping each student build confidence, improve their writing, and reach their academic goals.

During my time in school, I was awarded the Excellence in English Language and Literature Award two years in a row. I also won first place in the Senior Public Speaking and Debating Championship at the regional level. These achievements reflect my strong communication skills and deep understanding of the English language, which I now use to support students in a one-on-one setting.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I take a personalized approach to tutoring. Whether your child needs help with grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, or essay structure, I tailor each lesson to match their unique learning style and needs.

Parents often describe me as patient, encouraging, and reliable. I strive to make each session engaging and productive so that students not only improve their skills but also develop a genuine interest in learning.
