About Uta
Hi, I'm Uta O and I am an international student at UBC! I have graduated high school with an IB Bilingual Diploma and AP Honors with Distinction.
I am a trilingual international student with backgrounds in Japanese, Chinese and North American culture and languages.
I teach Japanese from all levels, from complete beginners to AP Japanese Language and Culture learners. I have taken this AP exam myself and have scored a 5. I can teach you all the tips and tricks on nailing this exam!

Typical Lesson Plan:
Speaking/Listening: Start the class with a conversation with the tutor. Update me on your day and reflect your learning from the previous learning session.
Reading: Short reading of various text types prepared by the tutor. Master pronunciations and tones.
Writing: Practice Japanese alphabets and create simple sentences with weekly vocabulary lists.
*Classes are for beginner to intermediate Japanese language learners.
