About Zahra
My name is Zahra, and I’m a recent English Literature and Language graduate with a strong passion for teaching. I love working in an educational environment and find real fulfilment in helping children thrive. Teaching is something I not only enjoy but feel naturally confident in. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grow in understanding and self-belief, knowing I’ve played a part in that journey. I have worked as an online English tutor for the past three years, supporting both primary and secondary school students. During this time, I’ve gained valuable experience in tailoring lessons to suit individual learning styles and levels. I use interactive digital whiteboards to structure each session clearly and effectively, helping students stay engaged and understand complex topics through visual learning. Before each lesson, I take the time to assess what the student most needs support with, whether it’s grammar, essay writing, comprehension, or exam preparation. I break down the lesson into manageable parts, ensuring a focused approach that targets their specific areas of difficulty. My aim is always to boost confidence and ensure consistent pupil progress through personalised, well-prepared sessions.
