About Remo
I started studying Indian music in 2005 and graduated from the Faculty of Performing Arts at Benares Hindu University in 2014, where I earned a Bachelor of Music. I publish articles on Indian music on my personal blog remoscano.it, and I have published a collection of exercises on musical scales inspired by the Indian musical tradition. I consider myself more a musicologist with a passion for teaching than a musician. My main instrument is the sitar, but I also delight in singing and some Indian chordophones.

The lessons will deepen melodic and rhythmic aspects of improvisation in Indian music and you will have the opportunity to study modal scales and polyrhythms applicable to the techniques already learned on your instrument.
