Hello! I'm Hailey, and I'm thrilled to offer your child an engaging and supportive learning experience in Math, English, and Science. With a passion for education and years of experience working with young learners, I am dedicated to helping students aged 5-12 build strong foundational skills and a love for learning.
Teaching Philosophy:
My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a positive and nurturing learning environment where students feel comfortable and confident to explore, ask questions, and grow academically. Teaching Style:
Math and Science: I prioritise establishing a good foundation and understanding of the topics and I emphasize problem-solving skills and critical thinking. I encourage the students to practice a lot of questions to boost their confidence when tackling different types of questions.
English: I focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills. I encourage a love for reading by incorporating reading into lessons/activities.
