About Darius
I lived the first 25 years of my life in Geneva, in Switzerland, before moving to Zurich for 7 years. At 32, my wife and I moved to Phoenix, AZ, and have been living in the Sonoran desert since then.
I taught French alongside other subjects, such as math, literature, history, and Latin, since I started university as I way to earn some money. I quickly developed a love for tutoring. I had students as young as 5 years old, while the older ones were in high school.
I am patient and calm, but I expect my students to be motivated and driven.

I like to teach by offering my students the opportunity to be immersed in the language during the lesson. I avoid speaking English while making sure that my student follows along. Depending on the level of my student, I will assign homework and exercises, as well as recommendations for media entertainment in French.
