Graduating with a PHD in 2013, I specialize in music theory, music history, music composition, electronic/computer music and piano. I have been teaching these subjects for over 20 years.

About Griffin
I started out as a professional composer, performer and conductor for a number of years after gaining my Bachelors. I then undertook a Masters in music technology and computer music before undertaking a PhD. During all that time, I have been writing music, performing and teaching. I love passing on knowledge and enjoy discovering the creative potential my students uncover throughout our lessons. If you are after gaining chops for writing a song, sound design for a new game, arranging original music for a soundtrack, or just wanting to learn more about the vast history of music, lets talk!

I stongly believe that gaining a solid foundation in all subjects requires couplingprqactical knowledge with many examples in the musical literature, whether it be in a compositional or performative context.
