About Miah
Miah is a professional drummer, author, and educator with real-world experience across rock, blues, and funk. He holds a B.A. in Drum Performance from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he's also served as faculty, and performs with acts including the DTF Band, Stonebreed, The Van-Dells, and Crenshaw. His credits include live television and radio appearances, opening for Steve Vai, Toto, Sabbath Knights, L.A. Guns, and many more. He has done studio work with Grammy-nominated and award-winning producers. Miah teaches drummers of every level, from first-time beginners to advanced players refining technique, timing, and musicality. Lessons are patient, practical, and built around each student's goals, whether that's learning favorite songs, building fundamentals, or preparing for professional work. Perfect! Great teacher, I can tell I still have a lot to learn but I felt comfortable and in good hands with Miah. Excited to learn under their guidance as their experience and knowledge really shows.
- Angel is brand new to playing music, yet seems like a natural. After 15 minutes she's already playing 8th on the hi hats and quarters on the kick drum with no prior experience on the drums. Looking forward to seeing what the musical future holds for her.Miah's response :

Perfect! Miah was just was I was looking for, within minutes of the lesson I already felt comfortable and was learning things about the drums I never knew existed and could only be demonstrated in person. No question was a dumb one and he answered everything I asked. I learned a lot from our 1st lesson and have some homework to do and looking forward to learning more from him.
