About George
Hi, I’m George, and I’m excited to help you unlock your full musical potential! Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, I offer personalized lessons designed to help you achieve your musical goals.
I hold a Level 6 Diploma in Electric Guitar Teaching from the London College of Music (LCM), and I’m currently pursuing a Masters in Music Performance. Additionally, I have diplomas in Classical Harmony, Counterpoint, and Fugue, which deepen my understanding of music theory and composition. With 7+ years of teaching experience, I work with students of all ages and skill levels, tailoring lessons to meet your individual goals and learning pace.

My teaching methodology is built on five key principles:
Technique: Mastering essential skills such as alternate picking, hybrid picking, legato, and other advanced techniques.
Pulse/Rhythm: Developing a strong sense of rhythm guitar to solidify timing and groove.
Vocabulary: Learning scales, arpeggios, and essential musical patterns to expand your playing range.
Lead Guitar & Improvisation: Cultivating improvisational skills and applying theory to create expressive guitar solos.
Repertoire: Building a personal repertoire of songs and musical pieces to apply and showcase your growing skills.
Each lesson lasts one hour, allowing us to cover all these components thoroughly for balanced and consistent progress.
