About Margarita

Teaching music started because my own mentor stayed calm while I struggled to grasp basic concepts. I have a 7.0 year history of working with students who feel frustrated by their progress. Being direct is my natural way of communicating during our practice time.

I give feedback immediately and specifically. Some people find that blunt. I care more about whether you can rebuild the reasoning than whether you remember the answer.

Success for me looks like you solving something I never showed you. Connecting with students through ear training and music theory is quite enjoyable.

About the lesson

Barre chords often feel like a massive wall when you first pick up the instrument. You will find that my approach focuses on physical technique and reading tabs to simplify complex ideas.

My training from the Metalworks Institute ensures we cover electric technique alongside improvisation and soloing. We will use a 7.0 point framework to track your growth during our time together. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level so we can determine the right path for your exam preparation. Does this sound like the kind of challenge you want to tackle today?
