About Evelyn
Teaching exists because these traditions shaped my entire life. Music is a bridge. I hold a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy and have accumulated 13 years of experience as a working session musician. My foundation rests on the bolero, flamenco, and chacarera styles I grew up with daily. These rhythms inform every chord I play and every note I explain to a student. I find joy in helping others find their own voice through the strings. It is a slow process that requires patience. I am here to guide you through the basics or help you refine a performance. Let us connect over a shared love for the instrument.

Playing guitar should feel like a natural conversation between your hands and the fretboard. We start with the basics of tuning and maintenance to ensure you are ready to go. I incorporate my formal training to teach you essential skills like reading tabs and sheet music. Mastering chord transitions and power chords happens through consistent, focused practice sessions. You will walk away with a solid foundation that bridges technical skill with authentic musicality. We can explore the fretboard together at your own pace.
