About Theodore
I hold a bachelor’s degree in music and have over 6 years of experience teaching guitar to students of all ages and skill levels. My passion for guitar playing started early and has grown through both formal education and practical experience. I am dedicated to sharing this love of music by helping others develop their skills and confidence on the instrument. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with beginners who are just starting out, as well as more advanced players looking to refine their technique and expand their musical knowledge. I believe that every student has a unique musical voice, and my goal is to help them discover and express it. My lessons are always tailored to meet individual goals, whether it’s learning favourite songs, improving fingerstyle technique, or understanding music theory. My teaching approach combines technical instruction with creativity and fun. I emphasise a strong technical foundation while encouraging students to experiment with different styles and genres. I use a variety of teaching materials, including sheet music, tablature, and multimedia resources, to keep lessons engaging and relevant. What I find most rewarding is watching students grow both as musicians and as confident performers. Helping others achieve their musical goals and enjoy the journey is a true passion of mine. I am committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where every student feels motivated to progress and express themselves through the guitar.
