About Lyra
As a guitarist and teacher with nearly a decade of experience, I’ve guided students of all ages in building skill and confidence through music. I’m passionate about helping learners discover that mastery and creativity can grow together. My background includes performing in small bands and solo showcases, which allows me to share performance insights and stage awareness with students. I believe music should be both disciplined and joyful, and my lessons reflect that harmony. Outside of lessons, I compose and collaborate with other musicians. Watching students evolve from hesitant players into expressive performers who can make an audience feel something — that’s what keeps me inspired.

My guitar lessons combine structure, creativity, and exploration. Students begin by mastering rhythm, chords, and strumming patterns while developing musical ear and timing. I focus on smooth progress through exercises, improvisation, and songs that keep learning enjoyable and meaningful.
Beginners learn to move comfortably across the fretboard, while advanced learners dive into techniques like fingerpicking, soloing, and phrasing. Lessons also include ear training and basic music theory so students can understand and create music on their own. I adapt every session to personal goals and favorite genres.
We also explore live performance skills and efficient practice routines. My aim is for students to feel confident picking up their guitar, interpreting songs creatively, and expressing themselves through sound.
