About Suzahn
I am proud to call myself a veteran music educator, and I am here to inspire you! I am a professional guitarist, vocalist and songwriter (Warner-Chapel writer) and I play all over the US and Europe. I received an award from Sir Paul McCartney at The Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts for my dedication to art education after teaching at The Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts, and after McCartney took me on the road to help raise money for the school. I have an international master level coaching certificate through the International Coaching Federation (which sets global standards and accredits programs at universities in the US). This helps me to help you set and reach your goals. Whether it is to play for fun with family and friends, or become a pro or semi-pro, I am trained and ready to get you there. Learning a musical instrument improves executive function, memory, abates Dementia and Alzheimer’s and releases a variety of endorphins in the brain. In layman terms, it will make you smarter, keep you smarter and make you feel good. Let’s take this journey together.

I am educationally inspired by Brain Science and monitor how the student responds to tasks. Together, we discover the best way forward. I teach guitar in layers with lots of repetition to build muscle, and cognitive memory (the brain's ability to encode, store, retain, and retrieve information). I use auditory and visual aids to make learning easy and fun, and gently guide the student to grasp complex, bite-sized bits of information. The student will learn how to play, practice, and most importantly, enjoy the journey. My method is supportive, fast, and fun. Let's do it together.
