About Christophe
Guitar teacher in Paris 11th.
As far back as I can remember, my passion for the guitar began at the dawn of my 11th birthday through my maternal grandfather. Two years later I decided to tame the instrument and took part in a few group lessons. progresses very quickly and prefers to continue my self-taught learning. Naturally the approach to the instrument will be in relation to my own musical tastes and I will mainly work by ear but also with the help of tablatures. Around 15 years old I will discover the blues which remains to this day my main influence and my great musical love. Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, Son House, Muddy Waters, BB King, Albert King, Freddy King, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf... as well as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elvis... will mark my adolescence. It is by listening to them that I will perfect my technique and develop the sense of rhythm and harmony. Rhythmic work initially then solo work as soon as the chords are perfectly mastered. So I will play my first notes on a small Spanish classical guitar given to me by my grandfather then a folk guitar and I will very quickly acquire my first electric guitar .Being a compulsive listener, I will spend hours listening to my favorite standards and hours trying to reproduce them until I find complete satisfaction...To be continued...
