About Harvey
To whom it may concern,
I’ve recently graduated high school with experience tutoring guitar in a guitar ensemble, having played violin for 11 years and guitar for 7.
I’ve performed in ensembles including; chamber strings, orchestra, rock bands, funk, big band, jazz combo, guitar ensemble, and have performed at venues such as the Opera House, Lazybones jazz club, the Sydney Conservatorium of music and the Manly Jazz Festival.
I’ve been nominated for encore for my HSC music extension repertoire and have completed grade 7 violin and grade 8 rockschool guitar. I’m also an undergraduate currently studying a Bachelor of Music Performance (jazz guitar) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Lessons will be completely tailored to the students skill level, musical interests and aspirations, encompassing a wide range of different musical skills such as instrumental knowledge and technique, stage craft, musicality and music theory.
Having completed the HSC music 2 and music extension courses, I’m also available to tutor classroom music students, in all areas of music including composition, performance, aural skills, and musicology.
Lessons can also be more practical focused, such as learning a specific song, guitar solo, technique or chord. This method of tutoring is very engaging to beginner-intermediate learners as they are playing music they enjoy, and their musical progress is visible throughout.
