About Luke
Hi, I’m Luke! With over 20 years of guitar experience and a first-class BA in Popular Music from Goldsmiths, I bring both passion and expertise to every lesson. I specialise in all styles of popular music and tailor lessons to suit your goals—whether that’s jamming with others, writing your own songs, or simply improving your technique. Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time, returning after a break, or looking to refine your skills and reignite your love for playing, I’ll help you make steady, enjoyable progress. Lessons are personalised, engaging, and designed to build confidence as well as skill. ABOUT ME: I have played and written in bands for years and have had my music played on BBC Radio and featured in publications such as SPIN Magazine & Dork. I have a strong background in songwriting and recording so that is something that can be incorporated into lessons if of interest. As a person, I am very friendly, calm and patient. Teaching is something I find extremely rewarding, and it is important to me to always go that extra mile. Knowing how much value playing the guitar has brought to my life, even just having a small hand in passing that on to someone else is why I love to teach.
