About Frederick James
I have been teaching guitar for 21 years. I attained a 5th grade with distinction from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 1997. I do individual lessons with my students. Don't teach with a single curriculum but rather try to draw on the strengths of each student, handle the songs that they are interested in as soon as possible and help them achieve their personal goals.

Fred was my guitar teacher for four years. He was also my son's teacher for three years. With me he was extremely patient and considerate while with my son he was encouraging and professional, taking him through his electric guitar exams to grade 3. We moved to a different country so had to let go of our lessons with Fred and we miss him. What I would say most about Fred is that he is a patient and kind person who is an excellent guitar teacher for all levels.
Fred helped me find my inspiration in music . Through teaching those blues licks and scales, he helped me become the guitarist I am today 8 years later.
