About Dudley
I’m a guitarist, producer and composer with a Music degree from Goldsmiths University of London.
I’ve spent years gigging, recording and producing artists and bands helping shape and refine their sound. I also compose trailer music for film projects including work on Blade Runner 2049, Mission Impossible and many Marvel movies.
Outside of studio and composition work I’m very hands on with the instrument itself. I build custom guitars and design pedal circuits and spend a lot of time exploring tone, sound and texture. A lot of what I do is about finding interesting sounds and helping others do the same.

Lessons are relaxed and tailored to you with a focus on clear steady progress.
We can work on technique, theory, improvisation, learning songs, songwriting and most importantly developing your own sound and style. Everything is broken down in a practical way so you always understand what you are playing and how to use it musically.
The aim is to help you feel confident on the instrument and enjoy making music that sounds like you.

As an adult complete beginner I was quite nervous to try to learn guitar, but Dudley made it fun and easy to follow!! He helped me out with resources so I could work on stuff in my own time and was always so encouraging! I’d definitely recommend him!
I’ve taken guitar lessons with Dudley and my playing has come on leaps and bounds with his guidance. He is a patient and considerate teacher that helps people build the confidence to play their best!
Dudley is well versed in playing different styles of music and as such has a great understanding of how to get the most out of you, no matter what genre you play.
I have also had some lessons in music production with him and I can honestly say he explains it in a way that makes it seem easy. I think his CV speaks for itself!
