About Amanda
I am 33 years old and have been playing guitar since I was 17 when my ex-mother-in-law taught me before she had passed away. I've helped many individuals start their journey into the guitar world and it truly is one of the most satisfying feelings to see someone's progression with not just the instrument, but the passion that comes with it as well.

I'm a firm believer that not everyone learns the same way. My approach for the first few sessions will be virtual and later on I will be asking the student, parent or guardian to submit recordings of assigned chord charts to show that they understand the fret placements, chords, strum patterns and beats. When the time comes that I believe we can move forward a little more, we will slowly work our way onto learning how to read guitar tabs as well as the abbreviations that come with it.
