About Kinley
I am a guitar teacher with over 7 years of experience and an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals. I specialise in preparing students for band auditions, ensemble work, and live performances. Lessons focus on stage presence, rhythmic tightness, and group dynamics.
I help students develop listening skills, teamwork, and expressive playing. Lessons emphasise improvisation, soloing, and creative collaboration in ensemble settings. My teaching style is motivating, patient, and focused on tangible growth.
Students learn to adapt to different musical genres and roles within a band. We practise arrangement ideas, rehearsal strategies, and performance etiquette. Lessons include both technical exercises and performance preparation.
I aim to balance skill development with musical expression. Students leave ready to perform confidently, contribute creatively, and collaborate effectively. Together, we cultivate musical excellence and stage-ready performance skills.

I teach guitar with a focus on developing strong aural skills. Lessons cover transcribing songs, melodic dictation, and recognising intervals in real musical contexts. My goal is to help students play confidently by ear.
We practise listening exercises, ear training drills, and song transcription. Students learn to pick out melodies, harmonies, and rhythms accurately. Lessons combine technical exercises with musical application.
I guide campfire strummers and blues seekers to improve their listening and improvisational skills. Feedback is encouraging, practical, and focused on growth. Students gain independence in understanding music aurally.
Lessons integrate theory and playing to reinforce ear training. Students develop confidence reproducing music by ear. Together, we unlock the ability to hear and play music naturally.
