About Ruby
I am a guitar educator with 10 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Guitar Performance. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of different ages and skill levels, helping them develop technical proficiency and musical confidence.
My teaching philosophy combines patience, structure, and flexibility. I believe every student benefits from lessons that balance strong fundamentals with creative exploration. Each learning plan is adapted to suit personal goals, strengths, and interests.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing original music, performing live, and studying evolving guitar techniques. These experiences continually inspire my lessons and keep my teaching approach fresh and practical. I look forward to helping students achieve meaningful musical growth and lasting enjoyment.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students become skilled and confident musicians through a structured yet enjoyable learning approach. We work on chord mastery, rhythm development, fingerstyle techniques, lead guitar playing, fretboard knowledge, improvisation, and musical expression. Every lesson is designed to strengthen both technical ability and practical musicianship while keeping learning engaging and rewarding.
I use song-based learning, technique exercises, ear training, scale studies, creative challenges, and performance preparation to support balanced development. Students receive individualized instruction that helps them overcome obstacles, improve consistency, and develop greater confidence in their playing. Activities are selected to match each learner’s goals and musical interests.
Every lesson encourages curiosity, discipline, and creativity. I provide clear explanations, constructive feedback, and achievable milestones that support steady progress. My goal is to help students enjoy the learning process while building skills that allow them to perform, create, and express themselves confidently through guitar.
