About Jerome
I currently study at the Royal College of Music with tuition from Gary Ryan and Chris Stell. My past experience on classical guitar includes working as a soloist with orchestras, performing recitals, and premiering new music in chamber music ensembles. I have performed in masterclass to David Russell, Craig Ogden, David Leisner, Mark Eden, Charles Ramirez & Carlos Bonell. I achieved distinction in Diploma from the ABRSM exam board. I’m also qualified in A level and GCSE Music with A* in both.
I also have experience in jazz music and have performed with the Royal College of Music Jazz Orchestra alongside jazz pianist Zoe Rahman and drummer Benny Greb. My experience in jazz allows me to cross over into many styles of playing so I am comfortable teaching most styles of playing and catering to your needs.

I have a lot of experience taking auditions and music exams so if this is something you are interested in them I can definitely help. I achieved distinction in Diploma from the ABRSM exam board. I’m also qualified in A level and GCSE Music with A* in both. I have taken ABRSM Grade 3, 6 & 8 in classical guitar; Grade 4, 6, 7 & 8 in trumpet.
The typical lesson length is 30-60 minutes. I can teach al ages and levels beginner - advanced.
My teaching style is quite informal, I won’t push you to take any exams if you don’t wish. I will tailor my teaching style to the students desires whether the student wants to make a lot of progress or just have fun.
