Jac is an incredible guitar player in his own right, with huge knowledge of the instrument, this paired with his endless patience and kindness makes him a fantastic guitar teacher.

Jac is an excellent guitar tutor. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about his instrument, but he is also able to breakdown that knowledge into simpler ideas so that students are able to understand it better. His understanding of many music genres has helped his teaching, and his experience playing live music across many countries has also helped. Whilst Jac can absolutely shred a guitar solo, he also understands the importance of simple technique and melody when it comes to guitar; making him suitable to teach players of any level.

Jac also has a very kind and patient demeanor which has proved useful both in normal teaching and safeguarding situations should the need arise. He holds a full DBS check and is registered with the Education Workforce Council. He also completed an annual safeguarding course to keep his knowledge current and put the safety of his students first.

I have worked with Jac as a peripatetic teacher for years now and his students are some of the more confident and fluent players I have seen across the service. It is a pleasure to work with Jac and I know he'll be a great choice when it comes to choosing your private tutor!
