About Rhea
My passion for guitar began through a fascination with musical expression and the versatility of the instrument. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance and Pedagogy. During my 13 years of teaching experience, I have worked with learners pursuing a wide variety of musical goals.
I believe successful teaching requires patience, adaptability, and genuine enthusiasm. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand music deeply while developing practical performance skills. I enjoy creating lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence.
Outside teaching, I continue performing, arranging music, and studying diverse guitar traditions. These experiences enrich my lessons and help keep them engaging. Helping students grow into expressive and capable musicians remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students become well-rounded musicians through structured learning and creative exploration. We focus on rhythm accuracy, chord transitions, picking techniques, fretboard understanding, timing control, and musical coordination through practical exercises and engaging repertoire. Every lesson encourages confidence and consistent development.
As students progress, we explore improvisation skills, fingerstyle approaches, ear training, solo construction, songwriting methods, tone development, and performance preparation. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s goals and interests, ensuring a personalized and rewarding experience. Regular guidance helps students build both technical ability and artistic confidence.
I believe guitar education should combine creativity with strong foundational skills. My goal is to help students develop the confidence to perform, create, and enjoy music independently. Every lesson supports growth, self-expression, and long-term musical achievement.
