About Jade
I started my guitar journey as a self-taught teenager, discovering riffs and songs by ear, figuring things out with patience and a lot of trial and error. Over time, this passion grew into a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music with a focus on guitar. Now, with over 3 years of teaching experience, I’m dedicated to helping students decode the guitar in a way that’s fun, practical, and approachable. I bring patience and humor to every lesson, understanding the challenges beginners and intermediate players face. My popular ‘riff breakdown’ method helps students grasp tricky parts by breaking them into simple, manageable pieces. Alongside this, I introduce real-time songwriting challenges to spark creativity and connect theory to practice. I believe that learning guitar should be joyful and empowering, not frustrating. My goal is to turn your daily practice from a chore into a moment you look forward to. Whether you’re playing for fun or aiming to perform, I’m here to guide you with support and practical hacks that really work. Let’s make your guitar journey exciting and full of growth—one riff, one song, one joyful practice session at a time.

My teaching approach combines traditional guitar skills with modern music production techniques to create a well-rounded learning experience. I cover basics like music production, loop layering, and improvisation to help you develop a unique sound and flow.
We work on stage-style playing to build your confidence and presence during performances. Whether you prefer fingerstyle intricacies or classical precision, I tailor lessons to support your strengths and goals.
I focus on building solid technique while encouraging creative expression. You’ll learn to blend structured practice with spontaneous improvisation.
My goal is to help you excel both technically and artistically, whether you’re playing solo or performing with others. I create a supportive space where you can explore new ideas and refine your skills.
